Lace Wedding Balls

So occasionally, I love to plan weddings.  At least once a year.  Just indulge in it.  It's stressful but so fun.  After I plan the wedding, I can't take another look at wedding stuff for a while.  It's been like that since last year for me.  And then... I came across this blog post today from Wedding Chicks Wedding Blog.  And I am IN LOVE.

Seriously, this DYI lace wedding ball is absolutely beautiful and so easy to do!  I am going to try this...

fairy tales

For my daughter's first birthday, I have been intrigued with making it into a fairy party.  So far, it appears as though she's going to be a tomboy.  (Perhaps it's because she has 2 older brothers, so she likes to play with their toys.)  But nonetheless, I have to take this opportunity to dress her and make her birthdays as girly as possible.  Here are some neat ideas that I came across today:

From Stories by Mia (who captures the most beautiful Korean children parties):

From Hostess with the Mostess:
Darling & Magical WISH Themed Birthday

Darling & Magical WISH Themed Birthday
Star Wands

From Icing Designs:

A cheap and cute activity for the kids to put together.
Quick and easy rice krispy bars dipped in pink frosting

Cupcake Birthday Bash

In my blog last week, I mentioned making a cupcake birthday banner.  I apologize for the lighting.  Better pictures next time.

Look what I found on Icing Designs?  How cute are these bags?  I bet it wouldn't be hard to make them myself... I just don't know if it would be as cute!

Look at these favor boxes from Crafts By Rosa!  I have never seen such adorable favor boxes!  Sigh... how creative can a person be?!  (Images from The Catch My Party Blog).

Something's Fishy!

You know, I have always been looking for a great fish theme party.  Mostly because my husband and the kids love to fish.  I mean, they really love to fish.  All year round.  In the summer time on the boat.... in the winter time on the frozen lakes.  But I never found a fish theme that wowed me.  They were always... ehh.... But then... I went to ontobaby's website... and...

I came across this...

And it is super adorable.

Maybe for someone's next birthday...

What a great idea, right?!  Keeping this one close by... My son's birthday in May seems like the perfect time to do this.  I think he would LOVE it.
